What did you want to do when you were young? What was your dream job?

When I was young I always loved building things whether it was with Legos, sand castles, a house of cards, anything I could put together. It was my dream to be an architect and design big mansions and skyscrapers one day.

Where did you grow up and what was it like?

I grew up in central New Jersey and it was a pretty normal suburban childhood. Riding bikes after school, going to the park, playing kickball in the cul de sac - that kind of stuff.

Where did you go to school and what did you study?

I went to school at Rutgers University and majored in Civil engineering my sophomore year.

What prompted you to do something totally different from your structural engineering degree?

While I always thought my passion was in building design, it lacked the creativity and social atmosphere I craved in the workplace. I started the blog as a hobby to showcase my person style and through it I gained access to the fashion industry and met other like minded creatives.

What inspired you to create oh_anthonio?

The blog for me was my creative outlet. I wanted to practice photography and have fun with fashion so the blog was a natural way to document and experiment with all that.  It was also a way to meet other people with the same interests through my website as well as my social media channels.

Is there a best piece of advice from someone that you go back to all the time?

I remember hearing this quote and later found out it was from US President Calvin Coolidge: "Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and Determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan “Press On” has solved and will always solve the problems of the human race." There's always going to be someone just as good if not better than you at something, but if there is one thing you can do better than everyone else - it's that you can outwork them.
