When it comes to stylish daily outfit grids, the first account that comes to mind on Instagram would be My Creative Look. Seth Hartman, coming from a modeling and graphic design background had created My Creative Look with the encouragement by his brother, fellow influencer Matt Hartman. Now, My Creative Look had grown into a large community within just one year of time.
My Creative Look's outfit grids consist of simple items, but Seth could make a billion different combinations within the same pieces, which a lot of us could get some inspiration from his feed whenever we have got nothing to wear (again) from our closets.

What did you want to do when you were young? What was your earliest ambition?
The first one I can remember is Modeling/Runway. Right after I graduated High School I started doing a little Modeling and Runway in Chicago and I really enjoyed it. It was super competitive and tough to really make a mark, so instead of continuing that journey, I pursued Graphic Design to get myself an education.
What did you study in school? What prompted you to do something different than your studies? (if this is the case)
I received a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. As of right now, the Instagram account is just a Hobby, that eventually I would love to see become my main business.
Why were you inspired to create mycreativelook?
I had always loved Fashion from when I did Modeling and Runway so it’s always been a passion and hobby of mine without being my main focus. My Brother (@runnineverlong) started doing Men’s Fashion with Instagram a year and a half before me but more on the classier side. For the longest time, He kept telling me to do it also because He knew I loved Fashion, but I wasn’t in a situation where I could at the time. After a while, I felt led to give it a try and the rest is history.
What are some essential items in your closet that you think everyone should have?
The main thing for everyone’s closet is to make sure to have items that can be interchanged. They call this a Capsule Wardrobe. Having a couple pairs of Selvedge Denim, different styles of shirts for layering and a pair of sneakers and boots. All of which should have subtle basic colors (whites, greys, browns and blues).
What do you find to be the most challenging in your endeavors and what have you learned so far?
As a Dad of two little ones now, I’ve learned that Life is more precious than anything else. When it comes down to it, I prefer building relationships with people and companies because I’m helping them pursue their Dreams. Especially for smaller companies that have gone all-in (money and time) to do something different than the norm.
What was the best piece of advice you have ever gotten? Or a piece of advice you wish to give to your younger self?
Never give up trying and being creative. Creativeness is a gift from God that will take Dreams and make them a reality. My Grandpa would always tell me growing up, never allow yourself to feel trapped or confined to certain restraints that hold you back from growing. Allow yourself to be open to refinement that will excel and expand your vision for making your Dreams come true.
Where do you want mycreativelook to be in 5 years?
I would like to see mycreativelook be able to bring in enough income to sustain itself as a business, as well as continue being a place where Men can be inspired to think differently about their wardrobe/style.
