Valentine’s Day Easy Nutella-stuffed Chocolate Dipped Strawberry

It’s always been a misconception that chocolate dipped strawberries are fancy desserts that you are supposed to only get it from chocolate stores that charges a ton of money. No, stop it, it is super easy to make and we decided to make it even fancier with Nutella and hazelnut that basically makes it a strawberry Ferrero Rocher. If this doesn’t impress your Valentine, I don’t know what will.

Makes 15 servings

Prep time - 20 mins + chilling time

Ingredients

  • 15 strawberries (washed and dried with paper towel)
  • ½ cup Nutella
  • 1 cup Milk Chocolate ( you can use dark, semi-sweet, white chocolate...etc  depending on your preference)
  • ¼ cup chopped toasted Hazelnuts
  • 1 tbsp confectioners sugar (optional)

Directions

  • Remove the strawberry stems and pipe Nutella into the center (remove a small part of the center if the strawberry isn’t hollow)
  • Melt chocolate in a bowl, insert a toothpick on the pointy part of the strawberry and dip the bottom ⅔ into melted chocolate and drip off the excess
  • Dip the chocolate part into the chopped hazelnut
  • Place the strawberry on the sheet pan with the pointy side up and remove the toothpick
